I personally donβt use Frigate, but there have been numerous requests for a version that doesnβt require Docker. While I canβt confirm its efficacy or even if it works correctly, this version leverages hardware acceleration, USB passthrough, Coral drivers, TensorFlow, go2rtc, FFmpeg, and moreβall without Docker
Iβm giving this a try, had an error but it has created the container.
Am running Bookworm so the Bullseye template was downloaded.
Used the default settings, what are the default credentials?
There is none. It is crucial not to exit the Proxmox shell while running scripts. Leaving the shell during script execution will result in the script being interrupted.
Bookworm will not work, Bullseye only for now.
The Bullseye script got downloaded, isnβt that OK, even on Bookworm OS?
Error:
[ERROR] in line 23: exit code 0: while executing command "$@" > /dev/null 2>&1
The silent function has suppressed the error, run the script with verbose mode enabled, which will provide more detailed output.
Is IPv6 essential?

Hi and thank you. I have used your scripts here and there with great success. I was wondering about the MariaDB as you have it aimed towards replacing the HA recorder db. Curious is this is still beneficial?
I am not a DB person so have basically no knowledge of the inner workings but was wondering about doing it since you have made it so simple to create an LXC and point HA to it.
Given the recent enhancements in the SQLite database, Iβve opted to return to using the built-in DB instead of PostgreSQL. Unless thereβs a specific requirement for an external database, Iβd suggest sticking with the built-in option.
New website!
Gorgeous! And what a perfect domain name as well!
Nice!
I had a hdd fail on my home server and due to that i am having some rebuilding to do. I have never explored proxmox put am venturing into that rabbit hole now so i likely will refer to this thread often.
I had the opportunity to interact with him quite some times on the forum & by chat.
His passion for this was just nice to experience!
Iβm really saddened by the news of him passing away.

This is from tteckβs wife, Angie, also on GH:
Good afternoon! I am ttecksterβs wife. I donβt have a clue if anyone will even see this because Iβm not the computer savvy person that my husband was, but I wanted to try. I know that he posted an update regarding his health the other week, and I wanted to let you all know that he passed away a few days ago. If anyone sees this, maybe you could make a better post. Thank you for all that supported him. Angie
This is Angie, and to say I am overwhelmed by all the comments, thoughts, love, prayers, and condolences is an understatement. As well as the donations. My husband loved this site, and he was passionate about computers, coding, and all the stuff that goes with it. He showed me a lot of the comments that were made when he posted about his cancer and it made him smile. Thank you all for the love and support that you have shown to him, and now me.
He would be amazed that I even found his sight and was able to make a post. Thank you all again, it warms my heart that he touched so many lives.*
