PS3Eye USB Camera working/streaming?

I did stumble here and there on different articles and posts, however am not sure how to start with it.

I have connected the PS3Eye USB camera to HassIO 0.91.0 running on Rpi3 and it seems to be detected well.

However I am not sure how to proceed forward or does it requires any more components to work for any possible use.

  • Do i have to make changes to configruation.yaml for it to be used further.
  • In the current state is there a lovelace card where I can view the live streaming.
  • Does it requires installation of further components, how to do it.
  • Can i set up it up for motion detection video capture.

Would be thankful if someone is able to guide me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Did you ever figure this one out Syed?

 untill now…no. Didnt get much help from the gurus , who know the inside out of hardware device and how to make them work with HASSIO.

So keeping the fingers crossed.

How do you add ps3 eye to home assistant? I can’t seem to get it to work.
