PSA: Update your client for Notifications for Android TV / Fire TV

My Shield updated last night and I noticed that notifications were no longer working (error in HA: couldn’t connect). I opened the app that runs on my Shield and it said that it was created for an older version of Android. Updated the app and everything is working again.

Edit - the app didn’t update after all yet…

The companion app for notifications. Which app depends on whether you have an Android TV or Fire TV.

Yeah, sorry. I just started looking at the integration for that after you posted.

If I would have looked there first it would have made more sense.
