PTZ Camera following moving objects

A thought crossed my mind:
I have a Reolink 423 PTZ camera and an intel NUC running my home assistant with the camera all set up so I can control the PTZ.
Is there something that works out of the box where I can use object detection to control the camera and follow said object?
For example a cat that runs through my garden?
Of course there’s those cases where multiple objects move in different directions, so which one to follow. Plus, where should the camera return to, when the object has gone.
Can this be done with something like DOODS2 for example?

Thanks!

Hello, we have several Reolink Trackmix pet cameras on our property. All are connected to HA and can be controlled via HA. However, the camera itself determines which object it follows when the object enters the camera’s sensor range. Only when I point the camera at an object via PTZ is this taken over and tracked.
I think most of this is controlled by the camera’s firmware.
We now want to distribute motion detectors around the property so that when HA is triggered, the camera turns to this sector and animals that were not detected by the camera’s sensors are also recorded.
