Last year I used an old NUC that I had laying around to automate my heating in the house. I installed HomeAssistant OS, spent hours configuring and tweaking it and because I don’t use it for anything else, I turned it off in April / May when I no longer needed heating. Last week I decided to turn it on again, but the NUC is completely dead - does not even try to boot, no signal to the HDMI, USBs are dead too. I already ordered a HomeAssistant Yellow, but I’d like to get my configuration from my old installation, so I don’t have to make all the automations again (I don’t even remember everything that I did anyway).
So my question is - how I can access the configurations from the SSD of the NUC? I guess attaching it to a Windows machine won’t work since the file system is different, so I should probably try with Linux, but where should I search for the config files for both the sensors/thermostats and the scenes and automations.
