Push Location Request while app in background

I´m trying to get the location of my IOS device by sending a message “request_location_update” via push.
When the app is in the foreground it works but not else.
any other mesage arives when in background.

i have all switches on in location settings

Same issue here with two Android Phones. Disabled all the powersaving options…
