Hi, new to home automation in general. I bought a Lenovo Smart Clock Essential which is basically a smart clock with Google Assistant. I was wondering if there is some way to push custom voice notifications to the smart clock. I am setting up some home security cameras and I’d like to be able to be notified of any events by the smart clock via audio. Is this possible?

It;s a speaker isn’t it? So it should be available as media_player in your HA already. If so, youre able to send Text-to-speech (TTS) messages to it.

Sorry for the newbie question: I just have to setup a Home Assistant server in my home network and then I’ll be able to send TTS messages to the Google Assistant Lenovo speaker without having to modify the device at all?
