So I don’t understand what happened but I made a pushover account forever ago and it is still working without me paying anything. Someone made one and I integrated it and now it says the free trial is over. What free trial? Wtf?
One time fee of 5.00 per app platform up to 10K msg’s a month.
But I’ve never paid that before when was this a thing and why was my original account not charged?
It’s been a thing for years now. I don’t remember how many exactly, but almost certainly over 5 years and probably longer than that.
Their support article is from 2019, but I remember having to pay long before that.
Huh. Well I mean idk. I never paid. So I guess I just got away with it lol.
Or the fee was added after you signed up.
I am using a service that I find indispensable. It makes creating Alexa devices in NodeRed ridiculous easy. The creator has never asked for money, but I wish he would because that would be an assurance that he will continue running the server. (I do, however, support him with a monthly donation as a Github sponsor).
I’ve been using Pushover since 2016 and had to pay for the apps back then.
Or it’s a $5 one off and you forgot you paid it.
