I’m looking to enhance pylutron and to do so I’d like to modify it in my local installation for testing. for the life of me I can’t figure out where it is located. I’m running a pi with the standard hassos and nothing fancy. Where can I find that pylutron core file that is integrated to the OS?
For anyone else wandering along this thread:
My problem was that I was using a SSH plugin that dropped me in a container and not the base OS.
I used the instructions here: Debugging the Home Assistant Operating System | Home Assistant Developer Docs to get into the real OS via SSH from my host. Then I was able to get into the homeassistant container and find the pylutron file in: /usr/local/lib/python3.10/site-packages/pylutron
So this thread is resolved
