QNAP Container and Bluetooth issue

I have HA running in container and e.g. ZHA is working fine.

Now next step is to add support for BT devices and I added Asus BT-500 BT dongle to QNAP. I also added following line to compose.yml: - /var/run/dbus:/run/dbus.

Then I can add bluetooth integration to HA but there will an error: Loading failed, try again: hci0 (…): hci0 (…): Failed to start Bluetooth: [org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.MatchRuleInvalid] Unknown key “path_namespace” in match rule; Try power cycling the Bluetooth hardware.

I have tried some proposals based on internet discussions but without any luck. Do we have here any professional who could help me, please :slight_smile:

Hello Mikou,

Getting Bluetooth to work for HA, assuming you are not using HAOS, is tricky.
I highly recommend setting up a couple of Bluetooth proxy’s from the ESPHome project instead.
