Qubino Flush Shutter ZMNHCD1 not working propertly (position and status fails)

Hi,

I’m having some troubles with the Qubino Flush Shutter zwave device, I configure it as a Shutter (not ventian mode) my curtains have limit switches so when it reach a limit the motor automaticlly stops, so i configure as follow:

Parameter no. 71 – Operating modes: Shutter
Parameter no. 74 – Motor moving up/down time: 75
Parameter no. 76 - Motor operation detection: 0
Parameter no. 85 – Power consumption max delay time: 0

The device is able to “calibrate” up and down correctly, aftwer that the UI of HA says it is 100% open, y cant controll it from the UI componentes, they are not working… but i can use the Service panel to call the services, here i can open and close (full 0 or 100%) but set_position is not working, i call the service, OZW log shows the messages but nothing happens.

The only thing i dont like in the logs is that it does not matter if you open, close or set position, the device answer is allways Level=254 for old and new value…

Looking at the OZW logs looks like the device allways says it is at 100% but i’m not an expert in zwave/openzwave, may be someone can give mi a hand on that.

Note that i’m using the level entity not the switch one (that is not working either)

Hi,

Yes @maxdaniel , i did, at the end and after a lot of try and error looks like if you are going to use parameter 74 “Motor moving up/down time” and not the current detection feature you MUST NOT calibrate the device, with this parameter configuration and no calibration it is working fine for me

I got this module a couple of days ago and it was actually plug and play. Calibrated and worked first time. Thanks for the response though.

I also had trouble with the position not working for quite a whole. After trying out a bunch of things I tried both setting the detection config to time based and then back to current, as well as upping the power limit to 1.5W. In the end I’m not sure which one was the one that did the trick, but before that it would not complete the whole cycle when calibrating: it would go all the way up, pause, go all the way down, and stop there instead of going up a second time. This leads me to believe it might have been the power limit being too low to detect the limit switch having been reached on the bottom, but I can’t be 100% sure.
