This is probably a weird question, but when you add a device, is it paired to the home assistant install, or the USB stick or both.
I’m just staring with HA, and want to play around with other platforms, just to better understand the pros and cons of each. So If I add the stick to my HA install, and then add a ZigBee motion sensor and a couple zwave switches, etc. Then I put the usb stick in another computer (or docker container) running a different home automation software, will the devices need to be removed/excluded from HA, or will they already be “connected” .
Another scenario Add one switch to HA, and a different Switch to another Home Automation app. Use the same USB stick, Any issues?
Just want to play around with this and learn before making the plunge.
