Hello All,
I have a Sense energy monitor reported through history. It looks like it stops capturing usage data around midnight and then resets at 6am each morning. Ideally, this would reset at midnight each night, as expected.
I’m guessing I have a date setting somewhere set incorrectly or maybe this has something to do with my timezone (MST)? It doesn’t look like this is happening with the energy chart, which is also sourced from Sense. I’m including an image below to help illustrate the problem. I’m happy to add additional configuration data if you’d like to see it.
Any thoughts?
I had expected a reply by now. Has anyone else experienced this with Sense monitor history reporting?
Is time AND time zone correctly set on host system? I’ve seen (and made the mistake myself) a number of systems with correct local time but incorrect time zone.
Hi keith-michael. Thank you for your response.
The host system is a Raspberry Pi 3, but I’m not sure how to go about checking the time.
Also, it seems odd that not only does the recording restart at 6am, but I’m also missing data for everything between midnight and 6am. I obviously wouldn’t expect to see any solar production during these times, but I’m certain I’m consuming energy. The actual data coming from Sense confirms this.
