Question: Connected double pole relay or switch available?

For my outdoor lights (horse stables), I have a double pole switch (cutting live and neutral) like this:

I would like to add a wifi or zigbee connected relay behind the button so I can toggle the lights on/off without having to go and press the button in the garage.

I asked the guys over at Shelly but they didn’t give an understandable answer (I don’t see how Neutral was cut in their example they’ve sent, only live).

I was wondering if anyone has such a setup and what relay you are using for it. Ideally the physical button would also still toggle the lights.

GE / Jasco has zwave switches that have a companion switch for the neutral cut side so you’ll have a physical switch at each end, and have zwave control.

Note… some people have issues with their GE/Jasco switches. (Mine have been going strong for almost 4 years now, but I’m a sample size of 1. Used them with wink before moving to HA last year.)

Edit: the newest versions (zwave plus) are model numbers: GE 46201 (main switch) and GE 46199 (add-on companion switch).

How are you with soldering? You could unsolder the existing relay from a Sonoff / Shelly and replace it with a DPST relay. You’d probably have to use some short jumper wires unless you find one with the same pinout that happens to fit the board (after drilling the extra holes, of course).

Or a controller of your choice (ESP8266, etc.) connected to a dual relay board.
