Question on Manual setup of Google Assistant -> Home Assistant

Hi there,

Hoping someone can advise. I have the google → Home Assistant setup manually at the moment and I’m using duckdns for ddns to help with this.
Very often this fails when I ask google to do something with a HA device, I think mainly because duckdns is quite unreliable.

If I change my ddns provider, to say dynu, is the setup for HA as simple as changing the URL on the google console page in my existing project or do I have to create an entirely new project?

OK this is resolved.
For anyone wanting to do this in the future, this is what I did: -

a) setup a new ddns provider which will give you your new URL/domain name. Make sure you get this to update automatically somehow if your IP address from your ISP isn’t static.
b) I then expanded my existing LetsEncrypt certificate, adding the new domain name I created from the new ddns provider. I didn’t remove the old one in case I needed to revert.
c) I then changed all the URL’s in my existing Home Assistant Google Cloud Platform project, so that they used the new URL/Domain name. I think there were x4 URL’s in total.
d) And finally In HA I updated the URL in Settings/Network.

All working as expected and so far seems more reliable than duckdns.
