Hi,
I want to setup wifi on my RPi 3b+ with home assistant on it. I followed the installation instructions here, but these are instructions for booting the first time, and my home assistant is already live for some time (still DHPC and wired).
So I have setup a 2GB usbdrive, formatted to FAT32. Made a folder " network" and placed a file without extension in it with the name “my-network”. Used the template from the documentation from HASS.
Tried to reboot > nothing
Tried the button “import from USB” > nothing.
There are no updates to install (it said that it would import during an update), so I can’t do that.
Why does it not work? What can I do to set a static IP + wifi?
(the USB has the name “CONFIG”)
