As written in my other posts (and based on other posts) the Sensor "Energy Export disappears sometimes. In my situation the sensors disappears always at night and appears as soon as I’m exporting electricity to the grid or I make a reboot of HA.
I made lot of changes, but it was always the same result: the sensors disappears at night and appears as soon as I’m exporting electricity to the grid or I make a reboot of HA.
Yesterday I forgot to shut down my PC and HA was running in Firefox…surprise…the sensors did not disappears at night. So does it mean that the sensor needs data or someone must be logged in at HA, otherwise Sensor will disappear until getting data or reboot?
So it seems to me that this behavior is a normal one. The sensor documentation is not really helpful on this side.What is the opinion/experience of the experts?
thx for feedback
Rudi
To make it more precise and understandable here a screen shot from the Energy export sensor:
the red arrow indicates the stop of the graph and the red circle indicates the start of collecting data as my panels are starting to produce more electric energy as I consume, what it means that the energy will be supplied into the grid.
since a while I’m watching this issue and found out that it is somehow linked to a warning message:

Error fetching Shelly Plug S1 data: Error fetching data: DeviceConnectionError()
========================
It seems that EM3 and some other Shelly looses connection almost every day at exactly the same time.
I’m still investigating, but this behavior is somehow strange!
