Quick question about the TP link component

Hi all,

Just a quick question. With the new (at least to me) tp Link component (the one I installed from the integration page) do I still need to have my tp link sockets on static IPs or will the component just find them as long as they’re on the same network? My reason for asking is that my idiotic router can’t assign more than 8 static ip addresses, so being able to free up those “slots” would be nice.

I didn’t use static IPs–or even input IPs anywhere for that matter–with the new component. It jsut magically found the sockets.
