Rachio updated their app/website recently - right around that time the Component stopped working. In investigating the new website, the API Token is not available any more. Have they removed this capability?
Spoke to soon, I found it… but the component remains broken. Wonder if the API has been deprecated.
I don’t think the API is broken, but the component appears to hammer the new API limit of 1700/day. Looks like it needs to be dialed back…
I contacted Rachio to see if my account was locked out. They told me the API was “Closed”. I got the impression they were shutting down the public API and just doing integration through other providers (i.e. Amazon, Google).
I hope they don’t shut it down, that was one of the major reasons I bought it.
