I have an older Radio Thermostat CT50 V1.94, Firmware 1.04.84 and the thermostat works fine from Home Assistant dashboard (and is noted as supported in the documentation), however, when I try and write an automation to change the temperature the only actions I see are to change the hold mode and HVAC mode, I do not see how to change the temperature. Am I missing something or is this not possible with this model? Honeywell and dropping support for the portal this thermostat uses and I was hoping to control it self hosted with HA.
Did you figure out how to use your Radio Thermostat CT50 with HA? I’m able to set the temperature with mine, but I’ve never been able to figure out how to control away or set schedules for it. I also can’t decide if this is just my newness with HA, or if this thermostat just doesn’t work so great with HA. Would love to hear others’ experience with this line of thermostats and HA.
I’m too interested in this, would be super useful to be able to read the set temperature, schedule and read back current temperature.
