Rain Approaching - Send to HA - Broadcast to Alexa devices

Chaps, as I’m sure many of us have, I have weather alerts setup on my iPhone to alert me when it’s due to start raining within the next half an hour.

I wondered if anyone has managed to setup something similar for HA to broadcast this around the house to my Alexa devices.

This website looks promising but no API support from what I can see

I’d be interested if anyone has managed to get anything like this working.

Does the iOS version of the HA Companion app have the last_notification sensor? You may be able to leverage that with a template to identify the alerts you’re already getting and forward that to an Alexa announcement.
