Rain Bird works, but I get errors ALL the time. Help!

This screenshot is a small sample of the Rain Bird errors I get all day long. However, the integration actually does seem to work pretty reliable. Anyone else have these errors? Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thanks in advance!

hi,same here,that’s because you don’t have a rain sensor installed in your programmer

Thanks for the info. Is there a way to disable the rain sensor?

I think not, in its day I opened an issue but the thing remained, the same for the number of switches you have, do not let them add them in manual, I explain, if your programmer has 6 irrigation zones, but only use 4, home assistant also autodetects you 6, which will also give you more error messages in log

Yep, that’s exactly my issue! No rain sensor and I only use 5 of 6 possible zones. Ugh, I wish you could suppress unused features…

Hey guys, has anyone found a way to disable the unused sprinklers/zones?

Nope. I have one which I named “Unused Sprinkler Zone” and I just ignore it. It doesn’t cause any issues.

I just setup the Rain Bird integration and each zone came across as a separate device, each with a single switch. For example, “Rain Bird Sprinkler 1” device with a “switch.rain_bird_sprinkler_1” entity. I just disabled the two sprinklers/zones (3 & 4) devices by clicking the pencil icon on the top right of the device page.
