Ran out of space

I got a notification this morning that I ran out of space on my drive. I’m running Hass OS on an Rpi4 4GB model using a 64GB USB 3.1 thumb drive as the boot drive. It’s crazy to me that the remaining space on this drive was consumed within 3 months as that’s about how long I’ve had this home-assistant install running.

I bought another USB 3.1 thumb drive that’s 256GB and was wondering if I could stick that into the Rpi and just have the database and logs written to that device. Is this possible to do or do I have to migrate the whole OS install to a bigger drive or as the last resort do I have to clean up old data in the database?

Delete some old backups and manage your database size with excludes.
