Good evening everyone, I’m new to the forum, but I have been using and testing with home assistant for some time. I was looking for a script or if you give me a tip on how to create random timed hints at home, so that I can recreate the presence of someone when they are not there, to activate it I use a Shelly i3 contact activated by my alarm control unit the moment I enter it. Set random time for random automatic turning off lights (mimic someone is home)

So I wanted the lights to automatically turn off at night but at a random time. Random Light Schedule

Hello. Is there a way to create a random light schedule for say, when you are on holiday. I have so far 5 Philips hue lights named - light.dining_room_light - light.bedroom_light - light.living_room_light - light.hall_light - light.landing_light and was wondering if it was possible to have say 2 or 3 on for 60-90 minutes then switch to another random set etc. Or am I just trying to take things a tad too far ?? Anyone have a good vacation lighting automation?

I’m looking for an automation that will turn on lights between certain times while I’m away on vacation. Heck, might even turn on the sonos and play some music. I have no problems figuring out how to turn on lights between certian times, but was looking for something a little more “fancy”.
