What you call a ‘blueprint automation’ is basically an automation with a UI to configure it. The automation itself follows the same guidelines, and has access to the same resources, as a ‘traditional’ automation.
I suggest you create an automation that works the way you want then convert it to a blueprint.
Yes, there is a random filter in Jinja2.
Yes, i am aware about blueprint but i am not so good expert about automations creation especially if i am forced to use templates, so i asked it in hope that someone has already created an automation like this.

My mistake. When you asked if random was available “inside a blueprint automation” I thought you were doing research prior to creating the blueprint yourself. You’re just wondering if it exists because it might mean someone has used it to create the blueprint you want.
You might have better luck searching the forum for an existing automation that randomizes playlists. If you cannot adapt it to your needs, you could ask someone to help you or to convert it to a blueprint for you.
