My Home Assistant installation is on a hard drive connected to a Raspberry. It is a “WD Elements” USB HDD. I have a second drive of the same type with the same capacities. I tried to copy it from Disk 1 with Macrium to this Disk 2 by connecting these two USB disks to my PC. I can see the contents which seems to be identical. However, disk 2 does not boot when I connect it to the Raspberry. Is there a better software for this? I tested two other products but without success!

By far the easiest way would be to do a fresh install and restore from backup. Although it should be easy enough to create an image file of the disk using etcher is similar and flashing that to the new disk. But I would go with the restore from backup option.
