Hi guys, I’m new to Home Assistant, but I’ve been able to install and configure it without bigger issues (and I like it very much so far ). But now I’m surprised at the way HA seems to work with the Raspberry Pi Camera: I don’t want the camera to take permanent photos. Instead, I just want to use the snapshot function. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be possible to prevent the camera from taking photos regularly!? That’s why I set the capture interval very high (timelapse: 86400000). However, when I take a snapshot, HA unfortunately only gives me a copy of the last picture and doesn’t make a new one. Is there any way to change this or is there really no other way than to take pictures all the time?
Thanks for your help!
