I did a manual install (https://home-assistant.io/docs/installation/raspberry-pi/) on my Raspberry Pi, but now I am stuck in the homeassistant account, I tried to sudo out but it prompts for a password.
Rebooting won’t help cause I went and added a script that automatically switches to homeassistant account on boot.
Help!
If you didn’t do anything unrecoverable, you could just wipe the card and start again.
Can you not run the uninstall script, you’d have to to update anyway, or is it that you can’t get to where you can do that?
Did you install it in a virtual environment? If so, could you not just type “exit” to exit the virtual environment?
Have you tried the console to see if you can login there?

Renamed the initial script through GUI, I got it now!

This will get you back to your normal user.
There is no sudo password for the HA user. This is intentional for security reasons.
