RaspPi install stuck

New Install of HA following HA instructions. 32Gb card. RaspPi 3a. Ethernet to network.
Seems like it’s not getting internet but everything else in my network works just fine. What’s the story?

Thanks!

Same here.

My whole LAN works fine, except Homeassistant Raspi.

Endless message:
22-10-02 14:48:38 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.homeassistant.core] Error on Home Assistant installation. Retry in 30sec

Standby

I’m in exactly the same place! Tried numerous fresh installs and bought a new SD that is the recommended spec. Just doesn’t seem to see the network. Yet if I put in a card with other systems and boot, it’s working perfectly.

Same place here. RPI4, fresh SD card, HA 9.2…

With some research, I found that can be related to the date/time being wrong at boot. But cince I’m running it headless and I don’t foind anyway to connect via SSH, I’m stuck.

And not only it’s not working, but it also make some weird request on my network (Windows PC, PfSense gateway). Each time I connect the RPi, My dns resolution goes south. It like the RPi is broacasting some kind of ipv6 advertisement saying that he is also a DNS server…

So, I will continue to do some testing, but having a working ssh connection at boot will be really helpful.

I have a theory: my home network is in the range 172.17.1.x and since this is the same range as the internal docker, ha is no happy (and so is my network).

I will test that theory but first I have to setup a new switch with vlans

Same issue, as a new user, totally dunno why this issue is difficult to fix…
Getting no clue to solve this problem as i just want to use home assistant not become an expert in Linux…

Hi, I have the same issue. Did anyone find the solution?

The only think that worked for me was going to a RasPi 4
