I was wondering if it was possible to read my watermeter using a window/door sensor by aqara.
This is the installed watermeter:
Looks as if there is a rotating plate which counts every singe liter of water.
I also found a blog reporting that the very same watermeter is readable by a sensor called LJ18A3-8Z/BX and an ESP32.
So I asked myself if I could use a window/door sensor for that, too, as that would mean I didn’t have to do any soldering.
