Hi Everyone,
I’ve been using HA for a couple of years but I’m a newbie on alexa and all this stuff…
So, my intent is to “integrate” an echo dot with a couple of speakers that are connected to it so that they turn on when Alexa wakes and turn off when the “Alexa Session” ends.
The speakers are already integrated in HA (through a Sonoff with ESPHome). The problem i’m facing now is how to create some kind of “bridge” between HA and the Echo Dot status.
I’ve tried the Alexa Media Player Integration but unfortunately the entity it creates only reports the state and attributes about the “music section” of alexa and nothing the “Voice Interface Section”.
So my question is… Do any of you guys know if is there any way to read the actual Alexa’s State of an echo Device?
