Yesterday I restored a full backup on to a development server and wished there was a way to reboot it into Safe Mode after a restore so not all add-on’s would start up straight away.
So it would be nice if there was a checkbox or button on the restore screen to make this possible
I believe that’s now available in the latest (2023.11) version of HA.
Did you read the release notes for the new release yet?
I saw that and did read the release notes 
It’s not clear (to me) if there is a Safe Boot option upon restoring a full backup.
When rebooting there’s now indeed such an option available.
