Recent issues with Predbat and Solaredge Batteries

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has recently started seeing issues with Predbat and SolarEdge Batteries?

In the last week, I have noticed that without any change to my configuration, my SolarEdge batteries will revert to the default mode, 60 minutes after last being commanded by predbat to charge/discharge etc - I have tried upping the storage command timeout value, but this just get’s reset to 3600 shortly afterwards.

I’ve raised an issue on the Predbat Github, but not sure whether is a SolarEdge or Predbat issue - so wondering if its just me, or if anyone else sees this?

Cheers
Leacho

Did you get this sorted as I am seeing this too. I looked on Github but couldn’t find the thread.

I could set the timeout to six hours (Octopus low rate window) but that seems a little heavy if there is a way to configure things to resolve.

Found it - Battery Mode Returns to default mode - even with Predbat control. · WillCodeForCats/solaredge-modbus-multi · Discussion #705 · GitHub

Seems there is a discussion here - Battery not charging correctly overnight · Issue #1750 · springfall2008/batpred · GitHub

According to that thread, the invertor resets the default timeout so that route is not an option.
