Recommend a dimmer switch capable of dimming 260W of LED lights (USA)

We’re having our living room fixed up after storm damaged messed up the roof and the electricians are putting in 20 LED recessed lights which are 13W each.

I’m fairly new to Home Assistant and want a smart dimmer switch that can control these bulbs. I was looking at the Lutron Caseta but then found out it was only rated for 150W so it’s not going to cope with this load.

I’m in USA. Any suggestions as to what could be used to provide smart dimming for this load?

Thanks,
Mike

Jasco Enbrighten will support up to 600 watts in a single gang box. 500 watts in a two gang box. 400 in a three gang box. It is Z-wave and not RF like Caseta.

Rule of thumb for LEDs is that the inrush (startup) current can be up to 8x the steady-state current, so a 240w circuit of LEDs would need a dimmer rated for 2000w incandescent — a bit of a rarity. Most dimmers limit LED power to the 75-150w range for this reason. A few reputable brands, such as the Leviton WiFi dimmer and the Innovelli Red (Z-wave), claim to work up to 300w of LEDs, but I’d be cautious getting too near that limit, particularly with any generic brand.

Higher-wattage LEDs often work better with 0-10v dimmers, which implement a low-voltage dimming signal so that the full wattage of the lights doesn’t have to go through the wall switch. Unfortunately these are more common for 12-24v LED drivers, and harder to find for 110v fixtures, which would more commonly might have 0-10v support built-in.

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn’t realize Caseta was RF. They are definitely out. I’ve had a look at all the suggestions and I’m going to go with the Innovelli’s. I’m probably going to go for Innovelli Blue though as I already have Zigbee devices and a Zigbee hub working rather than get another hub at this point.
