Recommend an Outdoor Z-wave Light Sensor?

Hello,

I’m looking to measure the outside ambient light. Can anyone recommend outdoor friendly hardware for a US z-wave network? I’m having trouble finding options.

I found this device, http://www.climax.com.tw/lmht-3zw-zw.php, which would be perfect for my needs, but I don’t think it is sold anywhere.

Thanks in advance,
Will

Did you ever find a good product to meet your requirements? im getting really frustrated trying to find something that is outdoor friendly, and does better than “theres light” and “theres no light” (i thought about waterproofing a zooz 4-in-1 myself, but the light sensor measures “100%” luminance at conditions when i want the lights to come on"

This is intended to replace the PIR unit on a floodlight to give you programmatic/remote control of said floodlight, but it also tells you LUX, motion and gen2 gives temp too.
I have two of the gen 1 installed and just got a gen 2…it is still in the box however as snow and ice aren’t ladder friendly. Perhaps I’ll wire it up inside and play to see the differences in how they report.
Sunset is in 3 minutes for me and one of the gen 1 units says 54 LUX.

Hope this helps!

I have just ordered the Vesta LMHT-3ZW (climax) price is 92,93 excl. vat so it is for sale and does exist, although delivery time is expected in 6 weeks…

it’s not as cheap as the Homeseer solution, but that one is 120V I guess
and LMHT-3ZW is battery powered, so could be disadvantage

Where did you order the Vesta LMHT-3ZW from?

I actually prefer that it would be battery powered because where I want to install them it would be hard to wire.

I’ve ordered direct at distributor in Europe, if you are in that area you can contact them VESTA light + temperature + humidity detector - VESTA-313 - LMHT-3ZW | By Demes and they can point you to a reseller in your country

But in the first Place I contacted climax in Taiwan

Sidenote I’m still waiting for delivery
