Hey all,
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with and can recommend an indoor wireless camera for object detection? I am hoping to find something that has solid rtsp and is capable of full local control. Having cloud capability as an optional feature would be ok, but definitely not something that requires it.
I already tried out a few I got over Black Friday but promptly returned (Blink XT2, and Kasa Spot KC400) after spending a few days attempting to get them to work decently via local connection, but the hacky cloud bypasses were unreliable/extremely laggy. I feel that I should not have to resort to combing through decompiled Android apk’s looking for API strings and credential hints just to view my camera from my PC.
This made me realize I need to get something that has local access as a first-class citizen, but I am having trouble trusting any product descriptions on Amazon these days, so I am hoping someone might be able to throw a make/model my way that they know works well.
