Recommendation smoke detector ? Zigbee ZHA Conbee 2

can anyone recommend me a good room detector with long battery life?

I ended up just getting an “add on” unit that listens for the smoke detector audible sound.

since I don’t have a Raumelder yet, I’d rather use Zigbee devices right away.
But it’s a good idea.

I think the Nest Protect is a pretty solid (though pricey) smoke detector.
It is not zigbee based, but has quite an edge when it comes to its ‘smartness’.
The Heiman smoke detector (I believe it also is sold under different labels) should serve your needs as well. It is quite smaller than others, which I think is nice.

so it should be Zigbee. The Heiman only has Zigbee 3 in the “hs1sa-e” version.
Unfortunately I can’t find this for sale anywhere.

also Zigbee soll es schon sein. Der Heiman hat nur in der Version “hs1sa-e” Zigbee 3.
Diesen finde ich leider nirgendwo zum Kauf.
