Recorder: Integration failed to initialize -- SOLVED!

Hi guys,

I am on a RPi4 (SSD) running a straight HASOS no bells and whistles on core-2021.3.4. I’ve been using my recorder db on a NAS using MARIADB.

This stopped working a few months ago with error ‘Integration failed to initialize’. I tested the DB is up and running and it seems HA connects. (I tested this by changing the DB_URL and then get a different error. Would like to know how to properly test it - I SSH’d in to HA but there was no MYSQL libraries installed but that’s another story.

I noticed this post (Closed by Frenck) where it seems someone else had the same issue and resolved it by copying a new init_py to the recorder folder. Only I don’t seem to have a recorder folder.

For what it is worth, the following stopped at the same time:

Any ideas on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Ok so it seems I might have fixed it by dropping the MariaDB and creating a new one… hope this helps someone

what was the migration/ clone tool you used and how did you drop the DB?

I have Maria on a Synology NAS, just used the interface to drop it - no cloning.
