There are devices that can be used by several HA users. For example, fitness equipment. It would be nice to be able to link archived sensor values ​​to a specific user.

For example, introduce an additional field in the recorder DB, when NULL is a common value, when the user ID is a value of a specific user. This mechanism could also be used for multi-tariff resource and energy meters, significantly simplifying the configuration by end users without using auxiliary components.

UPD: The idea is that in the statistics integration there could be an option, for example, filter_by which type of values ​​to select.

This solution does exist and is on the surface. But it does not globally solve the problem of classifying archive data (for example, by user, by tariff, by selector value, etc.).
