Recovering my Z-wave and Zigbee controller (Nortek HUSBZB-1)

After a recent update, my Nortek HUSBZB-1 has stopped responding or is misconfigured.

I reviewed some details online - it seems I had both Z-Wave JS and Z-Wave JS UI running. Based on the details I found, I attempted to disable Z-Wave JS.

When I now access Z-Wave JS UI and review the Control Panel, I get the following message:

Driver: Failed to open the serial port: Error: No such file or directory, cannot open /dev/ttyUSB1 (ZW0100)
Error: Driver: Failed to open the serial port: Error: No such file or directory, cannot open /dev/ttyUSB1 (ZW0100)

I am running HA on a Raspberry Pi 4. I attempted to view “All Hardware,” but I can’t see the HUSBZB-1 in the list, and there are no details for USB ports.

My knowledge is intermediate, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what to do next to get everything running again. Any advice or step-by-step details would be great.

Thanks in advance E

Try re-seating the adapter and do a reboot. See if it shows under all hardware after that.

Tried that - still not working sadly.

Disable,
When this happened to me, I deleted it then restarted the host and it worked, until I looked at the initial config, didn’t uncheck the box that re-installed it, and it was back.
Make sure the box is unchecked at set-up and make sure you restart the host when you try to disable or enable any App or CI…
