Reduce impact of DSMR on home-assistant_v2.db

Hi,

My home-assistant_v2.db grows to over 1 GB ! I think it mainly has to do with dsmr reading ( like continous voltage)

Can I keep the dsmr (smart meter) intergsated, but remove eveything from the longer term database?
And, if so, how? ( Since I tried to exclude it using

> exclude: -dsmr in the config)

You have multiple options.

• Exclude all (or some) DSMR sensors from the recorder component
• Exclude some components from being added to the entity registry in the first place
• Condense sensors with the throttle component

Reduce number of DSMR 5 records to avoid huge database

The filter below will reduce the number of events each minute from 60 to 6 (every 10 seconds). - platform: filter name: "<replace by your new sensor name>" entity_id: sensor.power_consumption filters: - filter: throttle - window_size: 10 I excluded sensor.power_consumption from the recorder and included the new sensor above. Now the database isn’t growing as fast anymore.
