I have a Reimann sum integral sensor to track the amount of energy delivered by my electric car charger. The source sensor is quite unreliable and goes into the Unavailable state fairly often, but only for brief periods of time (the vendor API is bad).
When the source sensor goes into the Unavailable state, so does the Reimann sum integral sensor. However, even when the source sensor starts returning a value (0), the Reimann sum integral sensor does not recover and stays Unavailable.
The only way to get the Reimann sum integral sensor to recover and exit the Unavailable state, is for the source sensor to return a value greater than 0. I only charge my car about once a week, so the current power is 0 most of the time. Meaning, the Reimann sum integral sensor is Unavailable maybe 80% of the time.
Any ideas on how to fix this, please? Thanks.
