Reinstate Tesla integration

Ok, thanks for clarifying. Let me know if I should test or log something. Or raise an issue on GitHub

That was my problem, thanks. Might be worth mentioning this dependency in the documentation.

Yes, it doesnā€™t work. There are issues with it trying to talk to the model of Powerwall that I have. The fleet API availability seems like the better path for me.

I can try to simulate a grid outage with the Tesla app and see what the output looks like. Iā€™ll have to look at the fleet API too and see what the documented behavior is. The default really should be that the grid is active and grid services are enabled since most of the time our connection to grid power is on and working.

Iā€™ve opened a Github issue with the diagnostics: Tesla Fleet showing no data for 'Grid services active' and 'Grid services enabled' Ā· Issue #124081 Ā· home-assistant/core Ā· GitHub Peeking into the JSON, it looks like the API response has the data thatā€™s needed for those sensors, I suspect it just needs to be mapped to the right places.

I have 2 Teslaā€™s, in seperate accounts. This is required because my work car is billed to my employer.
I canā€™t seem to add 2 accounts, or install the integration twice. Should or could this be made possible?

It should be possible, but you might need to log out of the first Tesla account or use another browser profile / incognito mode to make sure it doesnā€™t login to the first one immediately.

If this doesnā€™t work raise an issue on GitHub, because it should.

Hi @Brett_Adams, any chance to have some working controls like p.e. the charge port unlock?
Thanks a lot for your effort

All remaining controls (except update) will be in 2024.10

Hi Brett,

thanks for your awesome work with the Tesla Fleet integration! I just installed the 2024.10.0 core update to get the new commands. However, Iā€™m missing some documented entities. For example, both number entities (Charge current and limit) are missing.

The charge limit entity is especially important for my automation so do you have any idea why itā€™s not showing up in my Fleet integration?

Raise an issue on GitHub with a diagnostic please. Also check your logs for any errors related to Tesla Fleet and specifically the number platform.

Thanks for the awesome work in 2024.10 !!

Someone was faster than me

Add missing number platform to init of Tesla Fleet by Bre77 Ā· Pull Request #127406 Ā· home-assistant/core - github.com

So waiting for the next patch update. Thanks!
