When I click the script reload button it takes upwards of 3min even when my script.yaml file is empty. Meanwhile homeassistant hangs until its complete. Sometimes it causes home assistant to restart. This also happens when I create a new script and save it, which really makes creating scripts hard.
I have tried looking in the log files and I don’t see anything of note. This happens, even if I remove all scripts from my files.
Is there anyway I can further debug this issue that anyone can suggest?
Update: Turns out it was watchman integration causing the issue for reloading anything.

I’ve had the same problem for a VERY LONG time and have been annoyed by having to do a full restart every time I edited something that wasn’t in the individual reload buttons. I’ve Googled before and searched the forums but to no avail. It annoyed me again tonight and after about 6 months of grumbling, i finally did another Google search for the problem today and your post popped up from late last year.
Disabled Watchman and bingo, everything came to life.
Watchman can bugger off and sit in the corner and think about what it’s done!
