Hi
I’ve already got HA to have actionable notifications with Alexa and HA via Alexa gives me a morning brief with various integrations thrown in (met office for weather, Waze for travel time to work) and so forth.
What I wanted was to include some sort of calendar/schedule of the day in my morning briefing (i.e. today you have blah blah blah at XYZ)
I thought this would be pretty straightforward but it turns out I am an idiot so it’s not.
Upon researching integration points, I discovered “remember the milk” (documentation here and I followed accordingly and got my API key and added the bits to config yaml.
However the next step confused me and specifically the bit in bold!
After saving the configuration, you need to (re-)start Home Assistant. On the first start you will notice a new “Configuration” panel appearing on the Home Assistant page. After opening the configuration page, follow the link “Remember The Milk login”. This will take you to a login page where you have to log in with your normal Remember The Milk credentials. This will authorize Home Assistant to access your Remember The Milk account.
- What “Home Assistant Page”
- No… I saw nothing different
Now I appreciate that only 22 other installs have this integration but if I don’t use this (I don’t care if I do or not), is there a better way or does someone understand what the documentation means?
TIA
