Have a site that has a 3 phase grid supply, but this runs through a large 150Kva inverter with PV and battery backup as well as a standby generator to keep the site up during grid outages.
I would like to monitor the incoming voltages and frequency on each phase on this setup however, here is the caveat. If the grid goes down, so does power to whatever device you are using to monitor.
Would like a solution where the power for the monitoring sensor is provided from a different source to the one that the sensor is monitoring. I can use the inverter output power for this, or if needed, get 12v DC from the generators battery which is also accessible.
Voltage and Frequency monitoring is essential on all 3 phases and preferably wifi connectivity for the sensors. If CT coils can be added to monitor current usage this will be a nice bonus, but not essential. It is a 200Kva supply we are dealing with.
Any ideas anyone?
