Remote access issue - Please help!

I have an LED Strip light that keeps showing my cloud server as offline despite having proper a internet connection. Due to this, connecting it to Alexa has been quite troublesome.

When I go to the ‘Remote Settings’ on the Magic Home Android app, it shows my email address, but it says ‘Account not linked’. When I click on ‘Authorization’, it says ‘40001 Device is offline’. Upon clicking ‘OK’, something keeps trying to load on and on, but nothing happens.

Could anyone please help me solve this?
Thanks in advance!!!

Do you have the light connected to Home Assistant, and Home Assistant connected to Alexa?

Yes, I have them connected to each other

Then why not expose the light to Alexa through HA, rather than through whatever cloud service you’re talking about?

I’m not sure what you mean HA. The cloud server I was referring to was the inbuilt cloud server of the MagicHome device.

I have managed to get my device connected to Alexa a few times, but since today, the cloud server has been stubbornly set at “Offline” for some reason and hence, I haven’t been able to get it to connect to Alexa

HA

Home Assistant - the software this forum is about

If you’re not using that then we can’t help you.

Oh! Pardon me! I thought that HA was just the official site of Magic Home.
I have now installed HA. However, it asks for some url (snapshot attached). Could you please help me link my HA app to my Magic Home LED strip?

Do it with magic
Your led strip has some type of controller. It’s either wifi, bluetooth or zigbee. In your case, as it’s magic led strip, is probably a wifi controller.
You have to integrate this led strip based on your controller to home assistant.
Then you can control it in home assistant,

That’ll be the URL you use to connect to HA, eg http://192.168.0.42:8123/
