I’m trialing NabuCasa’s remote access. I have it enabled in HAOS (running on dedicated hardware). The UI tells me that it’s connected to the cloud server and gives me a connection URL. Remote is enabled.
I’m logged into my iPhone/iOS companion app, off of WiFi (on cell) and I get a “Server with the specified hostname cannot be found. NSURLErrorDomain -1003” error.
So I texted myself the NabuCasa URL (long thing) and bam it works fine. I was able to connect to the server and login.
tl;dr App connection doesn’t work but browser connection does work.
I’ve tried logging out and logging back in to all of the devices. Disabling and re-enabling remote. Not sure what’s going on.
I have a Nabu Casa subscription. Iphone companion app works fine in the house (on known wifi SSID, so using internal address). When I am outside the house, I get same unknown error, plus a will retry in xx seconds message.
This used to work fine - have only noticed it in the past few weeks, although I dont often use homeassistant outside the house.
I’ve since moved to the Nabu Casa subscription as of yesterday and it still doesn’t work. It only works when I’m on WiFi. Kind of frustrating because I’m getting ready to go out of town.
Have the same issue but local hosted with dyndns. At some time in the past it worked smoothly but this changed suddenly. Working ration is like 2/5 very unstable
