With HAOS running in Virtualbox in a Windows host, I can get to the HA console by RDP’ing into the Windows host. Enabling the VB’s remote display does not seem to work–I suspect because there is no VB extension installed? Is there a way to directly access the console without having to go through the host?
Of course! Thanks for point that out. For some reason, I thought of the console shown running in the VM is “outside” of the HA core (HAOS) while the terminal through the web UI the “inside” (HA Core).
Following up on my question: Terminal gives me access from the UI to “a” console, but is it “the console”? By that I mean if I RDP to the host machine to see the guest’s console, I can see error messages (if any), among other information. I don’t believe the console via the UI replicates what is shown on the actual VM console. Is there a way for me to see “that” console without RDP’ing into the host machine? Thank you.
