Remote for Homeassistant

Hello I’m looking for an easy to integrate remote control for homeassistant.
I like to have 2-3 of them in my house and use them to control my lights. I already have a Phillips HUE bridge, so the remote dimmer would be an option.

I like to hear you guys about alternatives.

Go RTI. You can control the TV, lights, sprinklers, whatever you can think of from any room.(Its not limited to IR)

i got a 433 mhz reciever in HA, so i can use any cheap 433 mhz remote to control everything.

I am about to build one from a Raspberry Pi, I just got all the parts. Once I done I will let you know how it worked out.

This is what I am willing to build:

Hope once I build I will be able to control my HA with it.

Check he Xiaomi line! The have some nice and cheap switches: http://www.gearbest.com/access-control/pp_626695.html
You will need their gateway (which is also cheap). They also have some more sensors (motion, magnetic, temp…).

It works better, more reliably and faster than using the Hue Remote.
